Desert Rose Designs is my business name. I make quilts,bags and other handcrafted goods for sale. Custom orders are always welcome. I will be expanding into a practical, bright and hardwearing range of baby and children's wear. I have a certificate in Dressmaking and I'm currently studying Pattern Drafting.

	For that special child or grandchild, or for any family member to enjoy, the memory quilt is designed to document some of those priceless moments we all hold dear. By printing your favorite photos onto special fabric medium and selecting an important keepsake for the center piece we can create a quilt that captures those special times for you. Photos work best when converted to monotones, in this example sepia, but a range of monotones work well. Send us your photos and we will convert them for you. We then match them to a range of fabrics to create your unique lasting memory. This example was around 1 meter square and included a hanging rail on the back. Commissioned as a birthday present we thank the family for allowing us to showcase this work.
